The city’s 17th annual New Year’s Eve festival will be staged at 34 different venues across Saratoga Springs, said Joel Reed, executive director of Saratoga Arts on Friday. The organization will be presenting the event, First Night Saratoga, for the third consecutive year and anticipate 14,000 revellers will attend a variety of family-friendly events, from 5pm to midnight on Dec. 31st.

Canadian Celtic group Tartan Terrors will bring their kilts and bagpipes to the Saratoga Springs City Center, where they will alternate appearances atop the festival’s largest stage with Alex Torres and his Latin Orchestra.

The festival line-up, which features more than 200 performances throughout the night, was announced Friday at Saratoga Arts where musicians Mike Campese and Ray Andrews performed atop a stage draped with stars.
